1. It's no use doing / It's no good doing 做...是沒用的

There's nothing you can do about the situation, so it's no use worrying about it.

It's no good trying to persuade me. You won't succeed.

2. There's no point in doing 做...是沒有意義的

There's no point in getting angry.

There's no point in having a car if you never use it.

3. It's (not) worth doing 值得做某事

I live only a short walk from here, so it's not worth taking a taxi.

Our flight was very early in the morning, so it wasn't worth going to bed.

What was the film like? Was it worth seeing?

4. have difficulty doing 做某事有困難

I have difficulty remembering people's name.

I'm sure you'll have no difficulty passing the exam.

6. spend / waste time doing 做某事花多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間/做某事浪費(fèi)多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間

He spent hours trying to repair the clock.

I think you waste too much time watching television.

7. be busy doing 忙于做某事

She said she couldn’t see me. She was too busy doing other things.

James is busy practicing for the school concert.
